Ozone (O3) is the tri-atomic form of oxygen (O2). It is oxygen in it’s most active state and is an extremely potent oxidant that has been shown to posses broad spectrum antimicrobial activity.

The ozone generator uses ordinary air from the environment, which contains approximately 20+% oxygen. This ambient air is drawn by a pump and then channeled through an “ozone chamber” inside the unit. The corona-discharge element provides a capacitive load. Ozone is produced from oxygen as a direct result of electrical discharge. This corona discharge ruptures the stable oxygen molecule and forms two oxygen radicals. These radicals combine with oxygen molecules to form ozone. To control and maintain the electrical discharge, a dielectric is present.
The ozone then travels through clear, ozone-resistant tubing with a diffuser on the end. By placing the diffuser in water you will see the ozone gas bubbling into the water. The distinctive smell verifies the presence of ozone.
NOTE: ozone ratings are issued by the cell manufacturer and were laboratory tested. We are not a laboratory and we do not test ozone generator outputs. We have what we believe is the most durable high output generator available in this price range. Actual ozone output in any ozone generator may vary slightly, depending on many variables, including input gas, humidity, elevation (O2 concentration), temperature, air flow, and other factors.
There is a lot of controversy regarding UV vs. Corona Discharge to generate ozone gas. What is the truth? In a nutshell… corona discharge generates MUCH higher concentrations of ozone as.
UV ozone generators use a light source that generates a narrow band of ultraviolet light. Standard UV ozone generators are less expensive and produce ozone with a concentration of about 0.5% or lower. UV also requires the air (oxygen) to be exposed to the UV source for a more extended period of time.
Corona discharge generators are much more sophisticated, and can generate much higher levels of ozone… up to 16% concentration. Corona discharge generators pass a stream of dry air (or oxygen) through a high voltage field, where oxygen in the stream converts to ozone.
The UV method will never produce the massive amount of ozone gas necessary to perform SHOCK OZONE TREATMENTS. Let’s face it when you are performing a shock treatment, you need massive amounts of gas, and corona discharge is the only method capable of generating that kind of volume. The list is almost too long to count, but for starters, they are made to be nearly impossible to break under real world use conditions! Can they break? Yes. Without intentional abuse, almost never!
These ozone generators feature patent-pending ozone Tunnel™ technology. All of the fasteners we use are top quality stainless steel. Stainless steel will not corrode, oxidize, or rust in the highly aggressive O3 stream. Most companies use regular iron or steel screws and fasteners which degrade and rust over time when exposed to ozone gas.
All of the custom machined plastic used in the BioBlaster is the more expensive A Rated for ozone High Density Poly-Ethylene. This is dense enough to even stop cosmic rays! Other companies rely on cheaper plastic… usually PVC which has only a B Rating, and can degrade with time inside of an ozone machine, which means the machines break faster.
We use a double back-up for safety. We use not one, but two fuses. First, a standard 10 amp fuse that the rest of the ozone manufacturers use, but then we couple it with a Thermal Fuse… this is a FIRE SAFETY fuse that will turn off your machine if it gets too hot for safe function. We use only top quality American made silver plated silicone coated wires. This premium wiring ensures that the machines will continue to run daily for years with high voltage and the extreme stress of a high ozone shock type environment. Most companies use cheap non-plated standard copper coated with standard plastic which breaks down in the presence of ozone over time. When the wire insulation gets brittle it can get hot and catch fire!

These ozone generators are built with the toughest, most durable cases available for any price. They are bolted down and strapped in. Most manufacturers use plastic or heavy thin bent sheet metal to make their cases, both of which are much more fragile that our heavy duty stainless steel!

For therapeutic use: Place the aerator stone into a 6 to 8 oz glass of water and ozonate for 3 to 5 minutes and drink down the glass of water immediately. Remember, ozone will begin to dissipate immediately. After 20 minutes or so, the ozone will have dissipated out of the water.
For clean, safe drinking/cooking water: simply use a large container like an empty milk jug. and ozonate for 10-15 minutes. Then simply set that aside or put in the fridge for later use. You’ll have clean pristine drinking cooking water.
Also for therapeutic use: ozonate olive oil. Rule of thumb is 20 to 30 minutes for each cup of oil.
Use a different piece of tubing and stone for your oil. Place the diffuser into the olive oil and ozonate for 20-30 minutes for each 1 cup of oil. Take at least 15-20 minutes before eating. For ongoing “maintenance”, just a tablespoon every few days is a good idea.
Note: Olive oil DOES hold the ozone indefinitely, so you can ozonate your oil and stick it in the frig for later use.
To clean and sterilize your fruits and veggies in water, place them in a sink or large bowl filled with water. Place your produce in the water and ozonate for 10 – 15 minutes. You can use the same tube length that you use for your water; however, the large disk is better for this purpose. You can either use a separate length of tubing for your vegetables, or simply change out the stone at the end of the tube. As mentioned before, we use a 3 foot length of tubing for the veggies simply because it reaches into the sink easily. (1 ft. length for glass of water)

The tubing will need to be replaced. When it begins to harden and turn a shade of yellow, it’s time to replace. This tubing last can 3-36 months… it just depends on how often you use it. Usually, it’s about once a year.
Warning: Keep the ozonator away from children. Never put the hose into or near your mouth and nose area in order to breath the ozone directly from the unit. Do not use if pregnant or nursing.
Warranty is void outside USA. The AC Current model works on 110-120v only. If you use the unit in a country where 220-240v is used, you must use a transformer.
